These are the first dolls manufactured in 1979 by KENNER.
There were 9 dolls with "flat hands" and only 3
of them were sold with a pet.

You can notice that the 3 dolls with pets are 2 babies (3
1/2") and Purple Pieman who is an adult (and a
villain). Huckleberry and him are the two only boys.
